The Sax Kitchen is a woodwind repair and maintenance workshop in Dumbo, Brooklyn, NYC. Founded by saxophonist and luthier Mario Scaramuzza, TSK specializes in wind instrument repair with a deep focus on saxophones. Mario trained at the Félix Garzón Provincial Conservatory in Córdoba, Argentina, before continuing his studies at The City College of New York, and has called Brooklyn home since 2012.

At The Sax Kitchen, every client receives direct, personal attention. Our approach is rooted in a musician's understanding of the instrument — not just how it's built, but how it needs to feel and respond under real playing conditions. The Sax Kitchen's work is trusted by respected NYC saxophonists including Bob Franceschini, Antonio Hart, and Chris Speed, among many others.

Repair is not an exact science. Results vary by instrument, condition, and history. That's why we work closely with every client until they're satisfied — because the goal isn't just a fixed horn, it's a horn that plays the way you need it to.
