Selmer-Paris MARK VI 1960s - Lacquered
INDERBINEN TENOR SAXOPHONE
Here’s your chance to grab a great playing and unique saxophone.
Made by hand in Switzerland with Yamaha keywork.
Tone: deep and very projecting. I’d compare this with a Conn saxophone but with much more projection and ease of play. Definitely a powerful instrument. There’s also a sizzle in the sound that reminds me to a SBA. Very cool overall feel with the right amount of resistance.
Mechanical: great, great, great. Everything you’d expect from a Japanese made machine.
Condition: the sax comes fully adjusted and plays beautifully. Chanu pads and metal resonators with many years of life left on them. Theres a sign of repair (soldering) on the high E post. Well done but it shows and it picture so you can evaluate it.
Case: Manning custom case. Very protective and over 1k of added value.
I’ve described the horn as best I can but please feel free to reach out for more details. Here or @thesaxkitchen
